RESET – ACCESSING ADDITIONAL SOURCES OF FUNDING IN TODAY’S ECONOMY

The Great Recession has brought to light a condition that has been eroding faith based giving. The number of Christians who give and the percentage that they give to Christian organizations has been in decline for the past 90 years. In order to move forward, it is important to know where we are and how we can still reach our ministry goals. Accessing additional sources of funding is not impossible, it just needs to be realistic.

Richard Caperton has served as a leader in the stewardship arena since 1991. During that time he has helped ministry and non-profit organizations to raise more than $800 million to advance their mission and impact. One of his most notable successes includes helping the First Baptist Church of Dallas with its current campaign to raise more than $115 million; it is currently the largest amount ever raised by a single congregation. He also counseled the Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington, Illinois; to achieve an $80 million goal. Adept at vision casting, Richard has guided many congregations in capital campaigns for the purpose of property acquisition, facility development, and ministry expansion. Committed to helping his clients create a culture of generosity and stewardship, Richard excels in designing campaigns that impact the life and ministry of an organization far into the future.
